"Effects of Music on the Brain"

The study of the effects of music on the mind and brain has been a subject of interest for many. The interconnection between music and the physical and mental health of human beings has been researched since long. The research has concluded that music does have positive effects on the mind and brain of human beings. Music has the power of healing certain ailments. Indian classical music has been found to have the strongest healing powers. Be it about fighting anxiety, be it about speeding the healing process, music is the answer to all the queries. Find information about classical music.

Effects of Music on the Mind
There are times when one feels depressed. Feelings of gloom and inadequacy fill one’s mind and carrying out even the daily activities becomes difficult. Depression reduces brain activity and hampers the mind’s ability to plan and execute tasks. Lack of the neurotransmitter, Serotonin, leads to a depressed state of mind. Soothing musical notes help increase the Serotonin levels of the brain, thus alleviating mental depression.

Anxiety is associated with an upcoming event that may have an unknown outcome. It may lead to sleeplessness and other anxiety disorders. Music plays a vital role in calming the nerves and soothing one’s mind. Flat musical notes induce sleep, while natural notes provide the mind with alertness.

Music is found to affect the process of learning and thinking. If work is accompanied by quiet and soothing music, it helps the listener think, analyze and work faster in a more efficient manner. Music develops a positive attitude in the listeners and provides them with motivation. Surveys have shown that music brings about remarkable improvements in the academic skills of students, who are made to listen to certain kinds of music while studying or working in the lab. Listening to pleasant music, while doing a difficult task, can make it seem easier.

Music has a positive effect on the interpersonal skills of an individual. Failures that we face in life are often the result of lack of confidence and lack of desire to learn. Students obtaining poor school grades do not necessarily lack intelligence. Their poor academic results are often an outcome of their lack of motivation and their disinterest. Music lessons during school can help the students fight their mental block. Music proves helpful in encouraging young children to venture new fields. It helps them develop the confidence needed to achieve success in life.

Effects of Music on the Brain
Music has a positive effect on the concentration level of the listeners. It is also found to improve one’s memory. Research has found that the silence between two musical notes triggers the brain cells and neurons, which are responsible for the development of sharp memory. Flute music, and instruments like santoor and sarod are recommended for the enhancement of concentration and memory. Strong beats cause the brain waves to resonate in synch with the beat bringing about higher levels of concentration and alertness.
Music plays a vital role in enhancing creativity. Music has a positive impact on the right side of the brain. Music triggers the brain center, which deal with the development of creativity. Certain ragas are known to activate all the chakras of the listener’s body, thus benefiting him/her in the performance of other creative tasks.

Music is found to give students the capacity to trust themselves. It provides them with an internal discipline. Rhythm is known to help the students learn math. Music stimulates the brain centers that deal with thinking, analyzing and planning, thus enhancing one’s organizational skills.

Music helps secrete endorphins that help in speeding the process of healing. It acts as an effective distraction from pain and suffering. While diverting one's mind away from pain, it also helps bring about certain chemical processes in the brain that aid healing. After undergoing surgery, patients may be advised to undergo a music therapy. Listening to melodious, comforting music is sure to have a positive effect on the physical and mental well-being of patients.

How does Music affect your Mood?
Some look at music as a hobby; for some music is their passion, while some pursue music as their career. Music has a direct influence on your mood. Book stores, restaurants and shopping malls often keep some music playing in the background. The kind of music they choose to play depends on the kind of audiences they target. Music is found to enhance customer experience. Music being played in malls and restaurants peps up the mood of customers. People tend to spend more time in malls or hotels that play pleasant music. Music brightens up the atmosphere around you and is definite to cheer you up. Sad tunes often bring tears to the eyes. Cheerful songs brighten up your mood. Different types of tunes are seen to create different kinds of moods and arouse different kinds of emotions.

Listening to music gives me an experience of divine pleasure. What about you? Find information on music.

"TOP TECH THIS WEEK"- "LED Mood Sweater "

As the wearable tech market grows, creatives are introducing more high-fashion and interactive designs.
The GER Mood Sweater reads human emotions by reflecting specific LED light colours onto the white fabric of a sweater, which looks like a glowing futuristic loose fit turtleneck. Developed by San Francisco-based design firm Sensoree, the mood sweater contains a type of sensor known as the Galvanic Extimacy Responder. You wear the sensors on your hands, similar to lie detector test technology.
The emotions corresponding to the five light colours are tranquil or zen teal, calm or relaxed blue, ruffled or excited magenta, nervous or in love red, and ecstatic or blissful light yellow.
Kristin Neidlinger, Sensoree's founder and lead designer, describes externalized intimacy, or "extimacy," which aims to outwardly reveal sensory awareness to both yourself and others.
"Instead of intelligent technology, we create 'sensitive' or Sensoree technology that is intuitive, responsive and illuminates the senses," she told Mashable. "I believe technology can make us more aware. With responsive clothing, you can animate your body and heighten communication with yourself."
Currently, a limited edition of 100 mood sweaters are available for pre-order on Sensoree's website. Its final retail price is still undecided.
This isn't the first example of high-tech fashions. An "intimacy" dress made from opaque smart e-foils turns transparent when the heart races, and the robotic spider dress has jerking and twitching limbs that move to protect those who get too close.

"THE ROLLING ROBOT FROM THE STAR WARS TRAILER ACTUALLY EXISTS AND IT’S AWESOME”

Remember that incredibly neat soccer-ball looking robot from the Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer? The fans started debating about it pretty much immediately, as they tend to do. How the hell did it work? It had to be CGI, right?
NOPE!
Its name is BB-8, and it’s totally real.
Well, “real” in the sense that there’s some dude off-camera puppeteering it — but still! Actual, physical hardware — not CGI. No strings, no wires, no Kenny Baker hiding inside — just damned beautiful engineering and design work.
The Force Unleashed crew rolled BB-8 out on stage today during a panel at the Star Wars Celebration event.
“Neil Scanlan and his incredible team… built and puppeteered BB-8 in the movie, and did an extraordinary job.” noted director J.J. Abrams ” It was better for the actors, better for the film itself — you’ll see their work. It was amazing.”
The way it moves is just incredible; I’ve got plenty of ideas for how they’re pulling it off, but now I’m itching for the behind-the-scenes stuff almost as much as the movie itself. It’ll be interesting to see whether they try to miniaturize this tech for the inevitable toy release, or if the BB-8 toys end up being a bit less dynamic.

"BELIEVE IN YOURSELF"

I will tell you a story of my friend Monty Roberts.
As he was a kid, his father as a horse trainer was moving from stable to stable, from ranch to ranch, training horses. Thus, the boy‘s school career was constantly interrupted. One day, when he was a senior, teacher asked him to write about what he wanted to be when he grew up. He did not hesitate a minute and wrote seven-page paper about his aim to be an owner of a horse ranch, he wrote many details and drew a location of buildings and stables and even a detailed house plan.
Two days later he received his paper back with letter „F“ on the front page. After class he came to teacher and asked: „Why did I receive an F?“. The teacher responded: „This dreams is so unrealistic for a boy like you, who has no money, no resources and who comes from itinerant family. There is no possibility that you will reach your great goals one day.“ Then the teacher offered to rewrite the paper with more realistic attitude.
The boy went home and asked his father, how he should act. The father answered: „This decision is very important for you. So you have to make your own mind on this“.
After several days the boy brought the same paper to his teacher. No changes were made. He said: „Keep the F and I will keep my dream“.
Now Monty Roberts owns 4,000-square-foot house in the middle of 200-acre horse ranch and he still has that school paper, which now is framed over the fireplace.
Remember, you have to follow your heart and never let anyone take your dreams away

"BELIEF"

One businessman was in debt and couldn’t figure out a way out of it. Creditors were pressing him. Suppliers were demanding for a payment. He was sitting on a bench in the park with his head down, thinking what could save the company from bankruptcy. Suddenly, an old man appeared in front of him.
– I see that something is bothering you, – he said.
After listening to the businessman, the old man said:
– I think I can help you.
He asked the businessman, what his name was, wrote him a check and said:
– Take this money. We will meet here exactly in one year, and you will be able to return it to me at that time.
After that, he turned around and disappeared just as suddenly as he appeared.
The businessman saw a check in his hands for an amount of 500 thousand dollars, signed by John Rockefeller, one of the richest people in the world at that time!
‘I could end all of my problems in no time!’ – He thought. But instead, the businessman decided to put the check into his safe. Only one thought about its existence gave him strength to find a solution to save his business.
With the return of his optimism, he concluded profitable deals. During a couple of months he got out of debt and started to earn money again.
Exactly one year later, he returned to the park with the same check. At the agreed time the old man appeared again. And at the moment, when the businessman wanted to return the check and to share his story of success, a nurse ran up and grabbed the old man.
– I’m so glad, I caught him! – She exclaimed. – I hope he wasn’t bothering you. He always runs away from the house and tells he is John Rockefeller.
The businessman was bemused. During the whole year he was spinning and building a business, buying and selling, convinced that he had half a million dollars. And suddenly he understood that it’s not the money, real or imaginary, that turned his life up. It was his new confidence and belief that gave him strength to achieve everything that he had now.

"THE FEAR OF FAILURE"

You are here right now at this moment because tomorrow you wanna be somebody greater than the person you are today. You see yourself succeeding. You have a vision... you have a dream...
Congratulation’s
You're already 10 steps ahead of 95% of the world. So I wanna share one thing with you. It's gonna move you closer to your dreams... But before I begin... I wanna explain the biggest myth that most people think leads them to success... & here's the myth.
You might believe... if you’re scared to fail, you won't fail. “LIES! “ Biggest myth ever… and I believed it. You see, I always thought that being scared to fail in life would literally keep me from failing.
I would look at the losers around me and I would say… ”shessh, I never wanna turn out like him.” I really believed this train of thought would help me succeed until one day. I was walking down the street and I saw an old man. Had a hat, suspenders… and a cane. Was about 80 years old. This old man was barely walking. He could walk but the cane help a lot. He was struggling. So anyway, he was walking across the street and he ended up falling. So, I went over to go help him… and he gets up, says thank you and we introduce ourselves. Had a little conversation. Told me his name and I told mine. His name was Robert by the way and right as he walked away I told him this is what I said.
“ROBERT, you should stay inside where it’s safe my friend”…and Robert turns around and says to me “I love walking... and l love walking way more than I’m afraid of falling”. So I ask him “well... what about your safety? Don’t you wanna live?”...and he told me this, these are the exact words he said, he said this. “TJ, living means doing what you love to do”. ”and if I have to fall here and there to do what I wanna do in life... then so be it”. And he just walked away, never see him again, that was it... but that statement really had me thinking and it had me thinking hard because, I learned something that day. That’s when I realized the true key to success. You see, I always thought if I could just fear the act of failing and if I fear it like crazy... I will succeed, because I thought the fear would magically motivate me to get out there and start taking action but after that day?  I realized something, I realized it’s the love for success that will lead me to succeeding.
So just imagine if Robert fared of failing would he even start walking? Of course not! He wouldn’t even do what he loved to do. He would sit at home and take no type of action...but he loved walking. Wasn’t even scare to fall… it gave him life. That’s what allowed him to get up and do it. He loved walking so much he was willing to fall ten times a just to do it… AND YOU HAVE TO BE THE SAME!
You have to love success just as much because that’s what’s gonna allow you to get up and go for it! Being scared to fail won’t do ANYTHING!
In fact...
When you success and you start going for it...guess what happens? You’re gonna fail! You’re gonna fail ten times! A hundred times! MAYBE EVEN A THOUSAND TIMES! But that’s okay. Failure isn’t permanent. You get back up and keep going! And this time, you’re gonna be stronger, wiser… and you’ll be more driven than ever! And for every ten failures, you’ll land one success.
You have to love success so much that you’re willing to fail ten times before you can succeed once.
THAT’S HOW A WINNER DOES IT!
Imagine if Michal Jordan was scared of missing… he would’ve never taken the shot! Imagine if STEVE JOBS was afraid of people not liking his product… there would be no iPhone.
So ask yourself this! Do you wanna be a person who fears failure? Or do you wanna be a person who loves success? Which one? ’cause you’re gonna have to pick today...
AND I’LL TELL YOU ONE THING...
One is a Failure and One is a Success.
And if you love success there I nothing that can stop you! All those negative things people will mean nothing!
